Retirees

Retired Membership

When you retire, your membership in the Association is not automatically renewed.  Despite the benefits, and for whatever reason, some members wish not to continue membership upon retirement.  It is clearly an individual choice.

If you would like to apply for retired membership, you must complete a new membership application and submit it to the Association, along with payment of dues assessed on a pro rata basis.  In other words, dues owed at the time of your application for retired membership are based on the effective date of your retirement as follows:

January 1 — $100

February 1 — $91.67

March 1 — $83.33

April 1 — $75

May 1 — $66.67

June 1 — $58.33

July 1 — $50

August 1 — $41.67

September 1 — $33.33

October 1 — $25

November 1 — $16.67

December 1 — $8.33

Additionally, retired members renewing their annual dues for calendar year 2018 should make payment to the Association in the amount of $100.

Only personal checks and money orders made payable to the New Jersey Law Enforcement Commanding Officers Association will be accepted.

Membership is not gaurenteed. When you submit your application, your membership will be put to vote by the current membership at the monthly meeting. Your application must receive a majority vote to be accepted.

Membership applications are available for download from this website.

Completed applications for retired membership, along with payment of dues, should be mailed to the following address:
